Bushwick (Pop-Up) Veterinary is a passion project and labour of love .. My intention is to make basic veterinary services affordable and accessible; and to allow owners/pets the possibility of holistic care in the comfort of their home
My first degree is in Psychobiology from the University of California
I worked in animal behaviour and cognition for over three years in Santa Cruz, California and at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, MD, before attending the Royal Veterinary College, London, UK, in 2006
I have been practicing veterinary medicine in the US and London since October 2011
My MA in Psychosocial Studies received in 2013, from Birkbeck College, informs my work as a behaviour consultant
I am APHIS accredited and am studying Acupuncture for small animals with the Chi Institute
My passions are medicine, surgery, education/policy and behaviour
My muses are Rocky, an old, blind and deaf, temperamental sea lion who only ate food from me in her last months of life; and my dog Britton
